Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the third-party results provider. Mansfield Residents Directory does not keep a separate copy of those searches on its own servers. If you contact us, we receive the content of your message and use it only to respond.
Automatically Collected Data
Like most hosted sites, the service records routine log information such as an IP address, browser type, page views, and timestamps. We review this in aggregate for maintenance and to understand general page use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics or, when used, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
We use limited information to operate the service, diagnose issues, measure overall traffic, and improve the reference material. We do not sell lists of visitors or create individual visitor profiles.
External Websites
Links may lead to Richland County and Ohio records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Once you use one of those services, its own privacy terms govern the information you provide. This also applies to sponsored search results supplied by another company.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers process server logs on our behalf. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automated information described above. Information is disclosed when valid legal process requires it, and otherwise is not shared outside those service functions.
Security and Retention
The site uses an encrypted connection, and routine logs are retained only for the operational purposes described here. Because the service has no user accounts, it does not hold a visitor password or account profile that could be exposed.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a visitor under 18. If you believe a minor supplied us information, contact us so it can be deleted.
Your Privacy Choices
You may ask about access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information this service retains. Because we keep little information, a request normally involves checking the contact mailbox and relevant server logs, then removing what is found where appropriate. Use the Contact page to make that request. Ohio's public records held by state, county, or city custodians are outside our control; Ohio Revised Code R.C. 149.43 governs public-record access, while the Safe at Home Address Confidentiality Program in R.C. 111.41-.47 protects qualifying participants in specified records.
Changes to This Policy
Any revision will appear here. Continued use of the service after the posting of an update indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
