1. Nature of This Service
Mansfield Residents Directory is a privately operated reference service. It describes and links to public rolls, indexes, and directory collections associated with Mansfield and Ohio. It does not host government records and is not connected with any office, court, or records custodian.
2. Permitted Use
Use the service only for lawful purposes. You may not use it, or information reached through it, to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm any person
- Locate a person protected by a restraining or protective order, or a participant protected by Ohio's Safe at Home Address Confidentiality Program, R.C. 111.41-.47
- Commit identity theft or fraud
- Make FCRA-regulated decisions (credit, employment, tenant, insurance)
- Scrape, copy, or republish the site's content at scale
- Interfere with the site's operation or security
3. Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
This service is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. ยง 1681 et seq. Nothing on the service, including any result from a linked search tool, is a consumer report. It may not be used to determine eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another FCRA-covered purpose.
4. Links to Other Services
Government portals, sponsored search tools, and other third-party services have their own terms and policies. We do not control their content, availability, prices, or data practices.
5. No Warranties
The service is offered "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that its content is accurate, complete, or current, or that a linked portal will operate or return correct results.
6. Limits of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of this service or a linked resource, including decisions made from information found through them.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold the service operators harmless from claims or demands, including reasonable attorneys' fees, that arise from misuse of the service or a violation of these terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The original text, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. Links to individual pages and brief attributed quotations are allowed; full-page republication or systematic copying is not.
9. Updates to These Terms
We may revise these terms by posting an updated version here. Continued use after a revision indicates acceptance.
10. Restricting Access
We may block or limit access, without notice and at our discretion, for a user who violates these terms or misuses the service.
11. Governing Law
Ohio law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The service describes sources that may be subject to Ohio's Public Records Act, R.C. 149.43, but that statute governs the public custodian's records and access obligations, not this private service.
12. Severability
If any provision of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
